Sunday's Philadelphia Inquirer has a nice article focusing on former Eagle, and most recently former Redskin, Troy Vincent. Vincent is regarded as one of the classier guys in the game and has become extremely involved in the NFL Players Association, now in his second term as President. Like many of the players in the NFL, Troy is concerned with players like Pacman Jones, Tank Johnson, and the entire Bengals roster.

The Inquirer piece focuses on the work Troy Vincent has been doing in regards to players' behavior as well as addressing the issue of older former players not getting the same pension benefits as their younger NFL alums. Perhaps the most interesting anecdote from the article is a simple mention of Vincent's switching of agents.
A few weeks ago, the Washington Redskins released Vincent the cornerback. He subsequently hired Drew Rosenhaus as his agent in a move that stunned - and scared - many in the league who expect Vincent to follow Upshaw as head of the union. If that happens, Rosenhaus will have an influential ally who only will bolster his standing as the most powerful agent in the NFL.
Drew Rosenhaus may be a slimy agent, but he certainly seems to know what he is doing. Vincent says that Rosenhaus had been hounding him for the past 13 years about being his agent. That's a savvy businessman right there, even if nobody seems to like him.
