Milwaukee's Bogut And Villanueva Out For The Year

It's been a surprisingly busy week of Bucks news, considering the fact that we're talking about a team with a record so bad that only Boston and Memphis sit below them in the league's overall standings. The Bucks seemed to be on a little but of an upswing, after they fired their coach and his replacement won his first two games, including knocking off the Spurs who had won 13 straight. But the good news appears to have ended in Milwaukee.

It was announced today that Andrew Bogut will miss the rest of the regular season (oh, like the team might still make the playoffs) with a "left midfoot sprain" that will keep him off the court for a minimum of 6-8 weeks. Charlie Villanueva will also miss the rest of the season with "recurrent pain" in his right shoulder which will require surgery. So if you're a Bucks fan and were thinking that they could make a late push towards the playoffs, you can officially stop that train of thought from leaving the station.

No word if Bogut gave his doctor the finger after hearing the diagnosis. And if he's looking for a quick and easy way to recoup that $25K he was fined, at least he lives in the right place.
