Don't trade me punks, otherwise you'll regret it. Benitez -- the Orel Hershiser of the team in the fan's eyes -- hasn't been healthy done jack **** for the Giants in two seasons. Amidst the flowing trade rumors, Armando has kept his eye on the prize, telling everyone it would be a bad move to trade him:
"I'll tell you something: You'll see this year what I do -- all you guys ... You'll say, 'He told me.' ..."I understand the situation. I (won't) be (ticked) off," Benitez said. "I've been in this business for 13 years. It wouldn't be the first time I've been traded. But it'd be a mistake."
Well hotdamn Armando, that's the kind of fire I like in my players! He's even saying he'll throw two-inning saves, whatever it takes, whatever is needed. I dunno where this zeal and motivation came from, but by the sounds of things, get ready for a big season for Benitez.

Then again, he could just be setting himself up for his next huge free agent deal where he'll be a money-grubbing waste-of-space for two out of three years.
