Since he got popped in the face by a foul ball while watching his team play in spring training. I'll let the description from the Padres official site take it over from here:
Padres general manager Kevin Towers suffered a chipped tooth and a swollen upper lip Saturday when he was struck in the face by a foul ball that slipped through the netting behind home plate at Maryvale Baseball Park.
Man does it suck to be him. What are the odds?

In case you were wondering, the guy who hit it was minor-leaguer Mike Baxter. After the game Baxter said it was payback to Towers (pictured at far right) for cutting him last week.

OK, he didn't say that, but it would've been pretty sweet if he did.

And in case you don't have a family dentist already Kevin, may I make a suggestion? Stay away from this guy.
