Isn't it a nuisance when you're at school trying to practice for the upcoming football season, and a group of people approach you to take your picture because they say they're going to make a statue out of your likeness? I mean, all you wanted to do was get some extra work in barking out blocking assignments, and here come the cameras.

Oh, that's never happened to you? Well, it's happened to Dominic Raiola, Lions center. You see, the Rimington Trophy, awarded to nation's top collegiate center, isn't actually of its namesake Dave Rimington.
"I was there (at Nebraska) in the offseason working out," said Raiola, winner of the first trophy in 2000 that honors the top center in college football. "They asked me to get down in a stance. They took pictures of it, going around in the circle. Of course, they added some muscle to make it look like Dave (Rimington), but the pictures were of me."
For comparison, here's what Rimington looks like. Pretty close, actually. The lesson, as always: when someone asks you to pose for a trophy, do it. You may just win the damned thing. How do you think I won the Gainesville Bodybuilding Championship?
