Dodgers Don't Like Hall of Famer Roy Campanella

Because this is the second occasion where he's been disrespected. Badly. Witness the picture at right -->

When I did a baseball-reference check of "Lou Campanella" it yielded zero results. I'm not positive, but I think the MLB.com auction shop meant to say Roy Campanella -- just a hunch.

It's not just a simple typo either -- in three separate places Roy is mistakenly called "Lou."

This is a special premium card featuring a piece of authentic memorabilia used by the star Lou Campanella.
The other time he was slighted (thanks to Sons of Steve Garvey for pointing this out) was when an advertisement appearing on the Dodgers website mistakenly identified Campanella by No. 42 -- Jackie Robinson's jersey number -- as any semi-conscious baseball fan could tell you since it's only retired in every single MLB stadium. Roy wore jersey number 39 when he played.

Unfortunately as you might have expected, Campanella was not available for comment.
