Chris Henry, the Bengals receiver who has been arrested several times and become the poster boy for the league's most troubled franchise, met with NFL commissioner Roger Goodell today, getting a stern warning that the league could suspend him.But during a brief telephone interview with NFL Network afterward, Henry didn't sound as though he had learned his lesson. At one point, interviewer Rich Eisen asked Henry what he would say to fans who are scratching their heads at Henry's repeated off-field problems, and Henry said, "They're really not true fans, I guess."
Yes, any Cincinnati fan who would dare ask why the local team's players continually fill up the police blotter must not really be a true fan. That's the real problem in Cincinnati: The fans aren't loyal enough.
