These Colts Arrests Are Starting to Pile Up

In case you haven't noticed, the Indianapolis Colts seem to be attracting a lot more trouble since winning the Super Bowl.

The latest Colt in trouble is defensive end and special teamer Darrell Reid, who was arrested last weekend for possession of a nickel bag of marijuana with intent to roll that, light that and smoke it. He's pictured here thinking about just how good that blunt will be.

The sticky icky was also found in Dexter Reid's car last month in Virginia Beach. Backup running back DeDe Dorsey (who?) was pulled over for speeding and possession of an unregistered weapon in January. Dominic Rhodes is no longer a Colt, but he was when he was arrested for DUI and famously emptied his bladder in the patrol car.

I'm not saying these guys are the West Coast Eagles or anything -- there's a big difference between Mary Jane and horse tranquilizers -- but two drug-related arrests in three weeks should be cause for concern among Colts brass. Roger Goodell is turning into a law-and-order commissioner, and even though most of these charges are minor, I'm pretty sure he doesn't want his Super Bowl champs garnering this kind of attention.
