Word out of Miami is that Dwyane Wade should be ready to return as early as next week. He's been practicing on a regular basis and everyone says that he looks great. The team is going to be cautious with his return to action, and there's a good chance he'll come off
the bench in his first game back.
"Probably. That's a good possibility to see how he's doing," Riley said Thursday. "The starting thing doesn't shock the team, but it creates a bit of urgency with them. He could start. He could come off the bench. We'll just see how he feels."
Said Wade: "Me and Coach have an understanding my first game or so with how many minutes I'll play. It won't matter if I come off the bench or not."
This would be nothing new for the Heat; regular starters Shaquille O'neal and Jason Williams came off the bench in their return from injuries earlier this year. Come to think of it, it's quite a shame Wade didn't start out the season on the bench, it would have been great to watch him battle
Ginobili and Popovich for the Sixth Man Award.
