As we've already updated you on, today's day-night doubleheader between the Mariners and Indians has been postponed because the weather is still um, really, really, terrible.

If you want to see just how horrible it was at Jacobs Field yesterday, peep the above video. (Don't miss the MIDI version of John Fogerty's "Center Field" during the clip. Pure brilliance I say.)

This is not baseball weather. This is Santa-Clause-elves-reindeers-leave-some-cookies-and-milk-by-the-fireplace weather. And, having froze my butt off in the upper deck at U.S. Cellular earlier this afternoon during the Sox-Twins tilt, I can certainly sympathize with Tribe fans out there. We want sun and we want warmth at our baseball games, thank you very much.

Al Gore if you're out there, a simple plea: close up the laptop and stop your anti-Global Warming crusade. Sure, the world may come to and end, but it least we can all die in shorts and a t-shirt. (Kidding. I love ManBearPig with all my heart. I'm super serial!)
