Aaron Afflalo will enter the NBA Draft, and it was the right decision. There are those who probably feel that he should have returned for his senior season, but those are likely Bruins fans thinking more with their hearts than with their heads. But it was time to move on. Afflalo will be a valuable commodity to a team that emphasizes defense. Meaning that he won't be going to the Lakers. But his defensive skills should make him a first-round draft pick, likely falling to a pretty decent team at towards the end of the first round.
Some liken him to Raja Bell, but he seems more like a Bruce Bowen with a better shot. And if Afflalo can ever learn how to trip people, he would be able to surpass Bowen. Heck, maybe San Antonio would be a good fit for him.
In any event, this was the right move for Afflalo to make.
