Let's be honest: The Minnesota Timberwolves' season, for all intents and purposes, is over. It has been another incredibly frustrating year, and for the third straight season, the T-Pups will not be in the playoffs.Management has decided that it's time to give the vets some rest and let the younger guys play more minutes. Only one problem: No one told KG (who only played 32 minutes on Saturday night, his third fewest this season).
"I don't prepare every season to play 76, 70 games," Garnett said. "If they want me to do that (play reduced minutes), then they'll have to come and ask me...If they want to play the young guys and sit us (veterans) down, then so be it, but tell me that ahead of time and be up front about it."Is that a hint of sarcasm ("they say they know what they're doing here") that I detect from Garnett? Is he not aware of the fact that his GM is the absolute best in the biz? I guess he must not read the paper or the Internets much. Get with the program, Kevin.
"If anything, young guys are going to get better when they play with you versus without you, but hey, they say they know what they're doing here"
