The Lakers fate appears sealed - following their loss to the Clippers Thursday and a setback in Phoenix Friday, coupled with the streaking Nuggets winning again last night, Kobe and Phil seem destined for a first round rematch with the two-time MVP Steve Nash and the Phoenix Suns. There's some chatter that the Lakers may not make the playoffs, but it would be too crushing for the league to not have Kobe in the postseason, so trust me on this - the Lakers will qualify for the playofs.

Last year's seven-game series was an epic clash, with LA storming to a 3-1 lead before the Suns rallied to advance on the strength of a clutch three-point shot by Tim Thomas in Game 6 and an overwhelming offensive showing in Game 7.

While everyone remembers the Raja Bell bush-league clothesline on Kobe in Game 3, I'll always remember this incredible Kobe dunk over Nash. It's one of the Top 5 in-game dunks I've ever seen. Is anyone not foaming at the mouth about this rematch?
