On the same day that his movie Talladega Nights lost the GLAAD Media Award for feature films to Little Miss Sunshine, comedian and USC alum Will Ferrell suffered an even greater setback.
As part of the "Swim With Mike" fundraiser, Ferrell jumped in the pool to race USC football coach Pete Carroll. It was age before beauty in the end, as the Trojan head coach came away with the victory.
In a post-swim press conference, Ferrell told reporters that although he started strong, he stopped to look at the cheering crowd, which allowed Coach Carroll to secure the win.
