The Dodgers honored Jackie Robinson with a series of pre-game festivities in addition to having the entire team wear No. 42 before proceeding to take the visiting Friars behind the woodshed. Wilson Betimet didn't play, but honored Robinson in his own special way with a .042 batting average.
