NBC has added Keith Olbermann to the Football Night in America crew, and for the most part the response has been positive. Although the set is going to be awfully crowded, most fans I've heard from agree that Olbermann is a smart guy who should add something with his wit and intelligence.

But one person who disagrees is ESPN Radio's Colin Cowherd. Here's what Cowherd had to say:
Olbermann is bright and talented and a really good broadcaster, but he's about as middle-america as a transgender film festival. He's a Northeast Intellectual Baseball Guy....he doesn't speak to the NFL fan at all!

Keith is about as NFL as Pinot Grigio and an ascot. I can't think of anyone who is less than Keith Olbermann other than maybe Anderson Cooper.

The transgender film festival part isn't even worth responding to, but it comes across as though Cowherd thinks calling someone "intellectual" is an insult. This might come as a shock to Cowherd, but you can be an intellectual and you can be from the Northeast and still have something worthwhile to say about football.
