If I could choose one arena to watch an important hockey game, the Nassau Coliseum would have to be on my short list. When the stakes are high, the crowd is loud, rowdy and fun. Back in the late 1970s and early 1980s, they played important games all the time at the Coliseum, but as the Islanders dynasty faded into history, so did the frequency with which the locals arrived ready to do battle. For the most part these days, most of the passion is saved up for clashes with the Rangers.

But with the Islanders back in the playoffs, the faithful are back. Unfortunately, as was the case with the yahoos in Pittsburgh who booed the Canadian national anthem, there's a whole other set of bad apples on the Island, like this group of fans who unleashed a torrent of F-bombs on one visiting fan, oblivious all the time to the presence of a very young girl only one row in front of them (audio is NSFW):

Granted, visiting Sabres fans have not exactly been covering themselves in glory either this season, but you'd figure somebody could at least restrain themselves in the presence of little kids. How classless.
