NBA Playoff Picture Is Set
(1)Detroit vs. (8)Orlando: Dwight Howard should have himself a big series, but Orlando is too young and inexperienced to contend with Detroit. I foresee a Pistons sweep.
(2)Cleveland vs. (7)Washington: No one is giving a chance to the Wiz in this series, and rightfully so. It should be a cakewalk for LeBron and company.
(3)Toronto vs. (6)New Jersey: The Air Canada Centre is going to be absolutely rocking. Vince Carter might want to think about picking up some earplugs on his way up north. I will be in Toronto for a game or two, and I can easily see this series going the distance.
(4)Miami vs. (5)Chicago: Miami is built for the playoffs, but the Bulls are vastly improved from last season and should make this a very competitive series. With a potential LeBron-Wade matchup on the horizon, however, I don't see the League letting the Bulls out of this series.
(1)Dallas vs. (8)Golden State: Could very well be the most entertaining first round series of them all. Really looking forward to this one.
(2)Phoenix vs. (7)L.A. Lakers: It's going to be hard to top or match last year's epic series, but they'll give it a shot.
(3)San Antonio vs. (6)Denver: Expect the Spurs to get LOTS of calls in this series. I wouldn't sleep on Iverson and 'Melo, though.
(4)Utah vs. (5)Houston: Another really fun and unpredictable matchup. It's about time T-Mac won a Playoff series, no?
