The last time my parents threw me a birthday party, Chuck E. Cheese was the celebrity guest. But when you're the owner of the New England Patriots,
you can afford someone a little higher-profile for your son's birthday party.
Patriots poohbah Bob Kraft sent his private jet to New Jersey the other night to pick up shock jock Howard Stern's sidekicks Artie Lange and Gary "Baba Booey" Dell'Abate to entertain at a surprise 40th birthday bash for son, Josh.
Josh, the executive director of Chelsea's Boys & Girls Club, was rather blown away by the first-class feting and fawning by friends and fam at Bob and Myra's house in Chestnut Hill.
"He's a good kid who deserved a good time," said one party-goer.
If Josh Kraft is a big fan of Stern's radio show, then it's a nice gesture of his dad to spring for that kind of a party. But am I the only one who thinks it's a little weird that a 40-year-old is having a party thrown by his dad and being described as "a good kid"?
