You want some proof that the Mavs fear the Warriors? If going to Nellie-like small ball wasn't resonant enough, how about this revelation from The Dallas Morning News' Mavs blog:

Talk about being rude hosts: the AAC had the heat on full blast in the visitors locker room! Now I know the visitors aren't supposed to be comfortable, but this was ridiculous.

One writer and a Golden State manager were talking, and the writer said, "Why don't they just throw broken glass all over the floor, too." That's actually not a bad idea if the Spurs come to town. But needless to say, they found the thermostat and quickly got the AC running.
Okay dudes, let loose with those "it backfire and made the Warriors red hot" jokes. To yourselves. I'm sure this stuff goes on more often than we hear about, but it is a little unusual that the Mavs would need it against the eighth seed. It's a little premature to call this one a series. But when you've got the best team in the league taking this many precautions, it's obvious that the Mavs are worried about it heading down that path.
