With their two superstars struggling for much of the game, the Miami Heat were beaten by the Chicago Bulls in the opener of their first round series. Even though Chicago was better than Miami in practically every facet of the game, Shaquille O'neal felt that ref Eddie F. Rush might have had something to do with the final score.
"My intention was to come out and be myself, until Eddie Rush derailed me," O'Neal said after fouling out.

He accused the Bulls of flopping and said they had "a lot of help out there."
Funny, wasn't it Miami who everyone says used the refs to win a title last year?

As for Shaq, he might want to check out the boxscores next time before he talks to the media: Miami and Chicago shot an equal number of free throws (27). The difference was in the energy, particulary on the defensive end. Nice try, big fella.
