Police executed a search warrant on a property owned by Falcons quarterback Michael Vick Wednesday, and although they didn't find the person they were looking for, they did find neglected dogs. It's important to note that Vick rarely spends time on the property, and he wasn't the subject of the search warrant. But Vick is just a guy who seems to have a hard time avoiding negative publicity. This is the latest example. While investigators were at the property, they discovered three buildings behind the home that housed several barking dogs.
"When they had a chance to go to the site, they discovered animal neglect," Surry County Administrator Tyrone Franklin.
Franklin said that the dogs appeared to be hungry and forgotten.
UPDATE: Pet-Abuse.com reports that there was evidence of dog fighting and cockfighting discovered on Vick's property.
