Brady Quinn's Lady Friend More Clutch Than He Is

The Browns have had quite a day and we're only just through the first round. Not only did Cleveland get that left tackle they so desperately needed, they also managed to get the league's second-dreamiest quarterback, Brady Quinn.

But did anybody notice the comely young lady sitting next to Quinn for six hours in the Green Room? Sure you did. And so did the FanHouse's Michael David Smith, who offered this:

If you're wondering, the blond sitting next to Quinn at Radio City Music Hall is his girlfriend, Miami of Ohio soccer player Lindy Slinger.

First of all, props to Lindy for having the patience to sit next to Quinn, who grimaced after every one of the first 21 picks. (Things got so bad that when the Dolphins selected wide receiver Ted Ginn at No. 9, Quinn could be seen muttering, "That's a surprise." And to be fair, yes, yes it was a surprise.)

Anyway, Lindy's bio says she "finished second on the team in goals (4) and points (10) ... and three of her four goals were game winners." Which means she's won three more big games than Brady Quinn. (Rimshot!)

Oh, and that photo to the right there ... that's Quinn thanking the Big Guy. Not for finally getting him out of the Green Room, but for nobody telling his girlfriend that he's overrated. (I'm kidding, I'm kidding. She already knew that ... she's hoping to get a new car out of this. Again, I'm kidding.)
