Now there's a face we haven't seen in victory lane for awhile.
Bobby Labonte's last NASCAR win came two years ago in the truck series in Martinsville.
He set some milestones in the Aaron's 312 at Talladega Superspeedway today when he pushed Tony Stewart to the lead and then overtook him with a .052 second margin of victory in the green/white checkered finish:
- Labonte's first win for Kevin Harvick Inc.
- Labonte's 10th Busch Series win
- KHI's first win of the season
- KHI's first-ever 1st and 2nd place finish

The race also featured a Busch record 36 lead changes and a Busch track record 20 different leaders--just under half the field.
I kind of wish I had watched the race now. Last week's Busch race was more exciting than the Cup race, not sure I thought this week would be any different. But I tuned in for a bit during the race countdown (during which they never actually mentioned the Busch race) and suffered enough bad audio during the warm up laps to determine that ESPN's coverage was going to be too painful to watch.I hope Labonte has another good day tomorrow so we get to see him on the track some in his Spiderman ride.
