According to WVEC.com, the Surry County Sheriff, Harold Brown, has stated that Falcons quarterback Michael Vick is not likely to be charged after an incident involving animal cruelty at his Virginia home.

Despite the home belonging to Vick, there was apparently no evidence to connect him to the 54 wounded and sick dogs, or the dog fighting material found at the residence. It does appear that Vick was accurate when he claimed no knowledge of the situation.

Vick also met with NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell recently and vowed to change his lifestyle. He claimed that he's as tired of seeing himself in the media as anyone else is.

"After what happened ... I just wanted to crawl in a hole. I can't take it no more," Vick told ESPN. "I walk around with a smile on my face and act like I'm happy, but on the inside it's hurting. And it's killing me. I ain't got no more energy left for it. The more I continue to do things and my name is in the media, I'm not going to get anywhere."
Hopefully this will be last bit of negativity we'll be hearing from Vick.
