Cowboys quarterback Tony Romo made an appearance on ESPN's NFL Live today, and he didn't say anything particularly interesting in answer to questions about the famous botched field goal hold, his relationship with Terrell Owens, or how he feels about playing for a new coach. But he did try (again) to throw water on the frequent speculation that he's romantically involved with the former American Idol Carrie Underwood. When asked about her he confirmed that he thinks she's a great girl (that's good to know), he also said, "We're just good friends."
Somehow I have a feeling this isn't the last we've heard of this story, though.
