The news just broke at Yankee Stadium during the Mariners/Yankees game that pitcher Roger Clemens has signed with the Yankees. Clemens addressed the fans from George Steinbrenner's box to give them the good news during the 7th inning stretch, saying

Thank you all. Well, they came and got me out of Texas. And I can tell you it's a privilege to be back...I'll be talking to you all soon.
Unfortunately as of now, no financial terms are available, but FOX Sports Radio reporter Mike Moriarty told John Fricke and Marques Johnson that Clemens will make a few minor league starts before joining the Yankees. We'll give you more news as it comes to us.

Update: According to ESPN's Dan Patrick, Clemens will make a prorated share of $28 million this year, or roughly $4.5 million per month. He'll make a few minor league starts and could be back on the mound for the Yanks by June 1.
