Well, kinda sorta. I figure with the Blue Jays in the middle of a seven-game slide, their bazillion-dollar closer on the shelf and their G.M. living in a house of lies, they could use a little uplift mojo. And what better way to provide it than with a video of Slash performing the American and Canadian national anthems during the 2005 opening day celebration at the Rogers Centre.
Sure, it's two years old, but the very fact that Slash is still alive and walking upright should provide some inspiration to the Jays. Also, check the cool Red Sox-Blue Jays hybrid jersey he's rocking. Not to mention how he has the good sense to remove his top hat as a sign of respect.
