Well, that didn't take long! Less than a week after claiming Manuel Wright off waivers from the Miami Dolphins, the Bills released the third-year defensive end. Apparently, he showed up at camp overweight and lacking motivation -- perhaps a product of his clinical depression.I know I was pulling for the kid but that's how it goes. When you have talent but give no effort, you're doomed to be out of a job. That's how it goes in the real world and in the NFL. I'll venture to guess Wright will clear waivers this time.
To fill the roster spot left by Wright's departure, the Bills announced the signing of undrafted rookie free agent defensive back Duane Coleman. Coleman finished his senior season at Clemson with 81 tackles, one interception and two forced fumbles.
