In our ongoing look at just how dirty Bowen and the rest of the Spurs are, we bring you video of the most recent example, which comes from Game 3. Bruce Bowen tries to clear some extra space for himself by stepping into Nash's package with his knee.

Like I said at the time, there's no way this wasn't intentional. In my opinion, this and all of the other questionable plays by Bowen are not necessarily attempts to hurt people, but they are definitely attempts to intimidate. Most players are going to think twice about crowding Bowen on defense, or elevating against him on offense if they know that they can expect crap like this in return.

Much like the fans of the Pistons' Bad Boys teams didn't mind their physical brand of basketball, from the comments I'm seeing, Spurs fans are okay with Bowen's questionable tactics as well. Which is fine I guess. Just don't try to tell me that he's not doing it on purpose. With so many of these types of incidents in his career, Bowen's actions are absolutely intentional.
