Did Pacman Jones' Strip Club Visit Cost Him Six Months?

Pacman Jones went to a strip club the night before he met with NFL commissioner Roger Goodell to beg for forgiveness and ask not to be suspended. Goodell knew Jones had gone and was not pleased. How displeased? John McClain of the Houston Chronicle reports:
From what I'm hearing out of the NFL office, commissioner Roger Goodell was initially going to suspend Pacman Jones for six months rather than a year until he found out the Titans' cornerback visited a New York strip club the night before he met with Goodell.

Seems Goodell was so incensed at Jones' attitude that the commissioner gave the cornerback an entire season.

If true, that visit to the strip club cost Jones a lot more than the $80,000 in cash he allegedly used to make it rain at the strip club he visited in Las Vegas, which got him into this mess in the first place.
