What a strange year for college football when Rutgers has more guys on the team than Ohio State. The team, as far as I can tell:
QB Brian Brohm (Louisville)
WRs DeSean Jackson (Cal), Limas Sweed (Texas), and Mario Manningham (Michigan).
RBs Ray Rice (Rutgers), Steve Slaton (West Virginia), and Darren McFadden (Arkansas)
OLs Jake Long (Michigan), Sam Baker (USC), Cody Wallace (A&M), Barry Richardson (Clemson), and Ryan Clady (Boise State)
DLs Glenn Dorsey (LSU), Calais Campbell (Miami), Chris Long (UVA), Frank Okam (Texas), and
LBs Keith Rivers (USC), James Laurinaitis (OSU), and Erin Henderson (Maryland).
DBs Antoine Cason (Arizona), Chris Horton (UCLA), Kevin Jurovich (San Jose State(!!!)), and
K
P Chris Miller (Ball State)
The only ones I can't figure out are the enormous defensive tackle in a dark color sporting #97 and the guy in what looks a lot like a New York Giants uniform wearing #3, one of the defensive backs. Here's a picture of the D you can blow up. A little help here?
Update: commenters point out TCU defensive end Tommy Blake wearing #97 and Kansas cornerback Aqib Talib wearing #3. Some weird choices here. Is Henderson really a better choice than Dan Connor? Are there no safeties better than that guy from San Jose State? Doesn't Justin King or Jack Ikegwuonu warrant more hype than a guy with nine career starts (Talib)?
