When Stephon Marbury entered the League, he quickly became one of my favorite basketball players in the world. He was lightning quick, jumped out of the gym, played with an incredible amount of swagger and style, and I seriously thought him and Garnett were the 21st Century's answer to Malone and Stockton.

While his basketball career hasn't turned out the way any of us would have hoped, he's still going to leave quite a legacy through the work he's doing to create affordable shoes for kids. His next stop is the highly influential Oprah Winfrey Show, airing tomorrow afternoon.
"I'm really excited," Marbury said. "Last summer at my basketball tournament, I said I wanted to change up the world, and people thought I was crazy.

"To team up with people like Oprah and be in the presence of her; her voice speaks to a tremendous amount of worlds, the way she's perceived. Being able to do her show, we'll be able to convey to the whole country the message we're trying to convey."
If Oprah doesn't watch out, Stephon could end up surpassing her in the talk show game. As The Big Lead points out, could Oprah get Mark Cuban to reveal that he was naked the day he became a billionaire the way Steph did? Wait, don't answer that.
