Here's a little video clip that, like this one, you may have missed from Game 1 of the Pistons/Cavs series. Midway through the second quarter, LeBron has the ball knocked away from him and it goes out of bounds on the near sideline. James then proceeds to pick up the ball, and basically throw a chest pass that appears to land near the feet of a woman sitting courtside. Needless to say, the woman seemed startled, and it also looked like she and her friend had some words for LeBron after this happened.

I'm no huge LeBron fan, but I'm going to give him the benefit of the doubt here and say that he did this out of frustration, and not out of some malicious intent to injure these fans. I was once sitting in courtside seats behind the basket at a Clipper game, when after a particularly demoralizing play, Sam Cassell went to throw the ball off of the padded part that holds the basket up. The problem was, he missed it wide right, and nearly took my friend's head off before he got his hand up in time to deflect the ball back into the fifth row.

All I'm saying is, players get frustrated on the court all the time. So it is possible that LeBron simply got a little carried away, and I'm not going to be too quick to call LeBron a [jerk] for this particular incident. Now as far as his choices off the court, that's another story.
