I have mixed feelings about this. On the one hand, I'm a Vince Young fan, and I'd enjoy seeing him profiled. But on the other hand, 60 Minutes used to be my favorite non-sports show on television, and the fact that they've turned it over to celebrity profiles is the reason it's no longer among my favorites.

So is it a good thing that Young will be the subject of a 60 Minutes segment? Young and coach Jeff Fisher think it is:
"It's pretty cool that 60 Minutes wants to come down and interview me as well as learn my background, where I come from, about my family, and why I act why I act," Young said.

"They've done their homework, there's no doubt," Fisher said. "They've dug up a lot of things that even was of interest to me."

CBS won't say when the segment will air, but I can almost guarantee that it will be shown after the CBS telecast of the Titans-Colts game on Sept. 16, which will allow CBS to grab some ratings from fans who tune in for the game and stick around for the Young feature.
