Jets' Tim Dwight Nearing a Milestone

Unlike most players who enter the NFL looking for the money, a championship or fame; Tim Dwight entered the NFL with another goal in mind. While a championship was certainly a desire of his, he also set a personal goal to play at least 10 seasons.

After playing in nine games for the New York Jets last year, it left Tim only one season away from reaching his personal milestone. Now, as he enters his second straight offseason with New York, he can see the light at the end of the tunnel.

But the question remains: Can he make the team? The Jets are stocked at wide receiver right now with Jerricho Cotchery, Laveranues Coles, Justin McCareins, Brad Smith and seventh-round draft choice Chansi Stuckey all battling for roster spots. Additionally, players like Leon Washington, Raymond Ventrone, Justin Miller and Jerricho Cotchery stand in his way from making it as a return man.

It's going to be an uphill battle for Dwight, but if he doesn't catch on with the Jets, I'm sure there are other NFL franchises that would love to have him.
