We spend a lot of time complaining about pro athletes not getting involved in political issues. LeBron created an uproar when he refused to sign an anti-genocide petition; Michael Jordan is criticized for not using his celebrity to spur social change.

Maybe those guys know what they're doing; sometimes it's best for an athlete just to concetrate on his sport and endorsement deals. Case in point: The newest Sacramento King, Spencer Hawes.
In it, he said, he denied the entire existence -- and human cause -- of global warming. When asked for his take on Al Gore's An Inconvenient Truth, Hawes said, "It's one big lie. I talked about that in my opening speech -- it's the media's liberal overexaggeration of just about everything."
Other things that Hawes doesn't believe in include: Dinosaurs, evolution, unicorns, and math.

Incredibly, Ron Artest is no longer the craziest guy on the Kings' roster. Simply Amazing.
