Earlier this week, the Pittsburgh Tribune-Review's Joe Starkey had a nice feature on Ravens linebacker Bart Scott. Starkey asked the former undrafted free agent about The Sack against Ben Roethlisberger during last year's 27-0 beat down. Just in case you missed it:

Lucky for Big Ben, Scott took it easy on the Steelers quarterback:
"I didn't put the facemask to the sternum ... I left it to the side. [It could've been much worse because] ... you're thinking, 'Am I going to try to hurt him, or am I going to hit him hard?' He was exposed, wasn't tensed up because he didn't see me coming. I saw all of his chest, and I could've gone anywhere from the kidneys to the sternum to underneath the chin. I had a 15-yard start. I could have done some serious, serious damage."
You know, I'd hate to see what Roethlisberger would've looked like if Scott went all out on that hit. The Steelers' medical staff might've needed a shovel to scrape Big Ben off the turf. Small mercies, I guess.
