Even the casual baseball fan may remember the anthem that guided the Chicago White Sox to their 2005 World Series championship: Journey's epic ballad "Don't Stop Believing." Pierzynski and Aaron Rowand were in a bar on the road and fed up with the music selection that night, one of them blurted out, "Play some f'n Journey!" As they say, the rest is history. Perry even showed up and traveled with the team during their World Series run. How nice of him.
Well, with the 2005 season a distant memory and the Sox currently embroiled in an eight-game losing streak, what better way to utilize the song than to turn it around on Cubs fans?
