At least until Joe Paterno or Bobby Bowden retire. Aw, too soon? Don't want to hear that right now Mountaineer fans? Sorry. There's at least a 10 year window that we are going to have to get used to rumors that Rodriguez is on the top of the list to replace coach "x" at the university of got more money than we do. That's just the way the game is played. And you and I are going to pay for it. You are already seeing it in the extra money you have to pay just to have the right to buy season tickets for West Virginia games. And don't expect it to change. Ever!

But yeah, you remember that contract extension Rodriguez accepted to stay at West Virginia? Well, it finally got signed. To me, it's kind of an eerie feeling to know that it took basically since a week after the end of the regular season last year until now for the contract to get signed and become official. Not that I think Rodriguez actually wants to leave West Virginia, or was holding out hope that a better offer would come along between now and then. Like I said, it's a game. I think he wants the best chance to win year in and year out. If it's at West Virginia, I'm sure that's what he wants more than anything else. But he's also an A type personality, and he's not going to settle for anything less.

Let's just hope Penn State keeps feeding Joe Paterno brains, and Bobby Bowden never dies.
