Kwame Brown of the Lakers was arrested in Georgia last weekend during a traffic stop where his cousin was charged with driving under the influence. It seems that Kwame didn't like the way things were going down, so he felt the need to involve himself with the proceedings:
Brown became disruptive and tried to interfere with the officers' investigation, which led to his arrest, [Valdosta police Lt. Bobbi] McGraw said. Brown was charged with disorderly conduct and interfering with an officer after his cousin arrested for investigation of driving under the influence, McGraw said.
Hey Kwame, here's a little friendly advice. When you're a passenger in a vehicle that's being pulled over by the cops, and the driver's getting busted for DUI, keep your mouth shut. This was a completely unnecessary run-in with the police, and now you're looking at a couple of misdemeanors.
It's also worth noting that this is the third time that Kwame has been involved with the authorities. One of the first two incidents was comical, the other one, not so much. The saddest part of this story? It's very unlikely that we'll see a t-shirt created to mark the occasion.
