With the Bears 1-3 and flailing Brian Urlacher's day job is giving him more than enough to think about right now. Unfortunately for the Pro Bowl middle linebacker he also has to deal with ongoing court proceedings regarding the custody of his two-year old son. The child's mother, Tyna Robertson, was held on contempt of court charges for failing to bring the little boy to meet his father for a mandated visit. On Father's Day.

This isn't a new issue for Urlacher. He was accused of sending nasty text messages to Robertson over the summer. The messages allegedly called her a "hooker" and his son a "p---y," messages Urlacher says he doesn't remember sending because, I guess, he sends so many profane text messages that keeping them all straight is more than he can handle.

Robertson is blaming the latest kerfuffle on a courtroom biased in favor of the local celebrity. She claims court employess asked Urlacher for his autograph and says she will appeal the judge's ruling. She could also just wait for it to be thrown out by transporting the child to meet his father on Easter and another holiday to make up for the missed Father's Day but, hey, why not spend a few more days in court. After all it's just a two-year old who gets hurt by all of this.
