To get you ready for week 5, FanHouse is previewing all 14 NFL games. Here is the Dallas Cowboys/Buffalo Bills preview.

2007 Records:

Dallas Cowboys: 4-0 (1st in NFC East)
Buffalo Bills: 1-3 (T-2nd in AFC East)

Last Game(s):

Bills 17 - Jets 14
Cowboys 35 - Rams 7

When the Cowboys have the ball: What does a team that ranks first in points scored and total offense have to do when they get the ball? Well, that answer is very simple actually. They just have to do the same old thing: Avoid mistakes, use Julius Jones and Marion Barber III properly, and allow Tony Romo to hit Terrell Owens all day long. Seem simple? That's because it is.

As if slowing the Cowboys dynamic offense down wasn't difficult enough, the Bills will have to find a way to do it without a number of their regular starters. Due to an almost unrealistic amount of injuries, Buffalo has been forced to use reserves and street free agents. And while nothing in the NFL is impossible, it's certainly improbable.

When the Bills have the ball: Unlike the Cowboys, Buffalo ranks 31st in the league in overall offense. However, they appeared to play much better last week with Trent Edwards at the helm. Will that trend continue? That remains to be seen, but you can bet the Bills will do everything they can to take advantage of a Cowboys secondary that allows 220 passing yards per game. And although Marshawn Lynch has solid numbers through four games, he's only averaging 3.8 yards per carry. Add the Bills injuries to the Cowboys spectacular run defense, and the passing attack seems to be the only area of concern for Dallas' defense.

The Edge: Experts, analysts and fans are always looking for the "edge" and what team has it. This week, there is no doubt about it, the Cowboys have the edge. And why do they have it, you ask? Simple really; they're a better team and they know it.

Keep an eye on:

Terrell Owens versus Bills secondary: If the Bills have any shot at an upset, it will start with containing TO.

Bills offensive line versus Cowboys front seven: The injuries certainly aren't helping Buffalo, but there is no room for excuses. The offensive line must give Edwards time to throw the ball.

Tony Romo versus Tony Romo: Will he let the unbelievable success go to his head? It doesn't seem like it, but the possibility is always there.

Note: I am the furthest thing from a Cowboys fan, but I'm also realistic. This is one of those games that appear to be extremely lopsided. Is that to say the result is a foregone conclusion? Absolutely not. Any team can win on any given day, and I'll have my Bills hat on this Monday Night. But if worse comes to worse, and it turns out to be like everyone expects, at least the Cowboys have some good looking cheerleaders to watch.
