Report: Reid Not Going Anywhere

Earlier in the week, we told you there were sources close to Andy Reid and the team who said the head ball coach may step down. As Philadelphia magazine's A.J. Daulerio pointed out today, the local media in Philadelphia have been shooting the original reports down.
Know this: Andy Reid isn't going anywhere. He's not going to resign this week, or hand off the head coaching duties to Marty Mornhinweg. He's not going to pack up and go home, or retire to Utah, or take another leave of absence.
Know it, people.

As I said previously, if Reid were to step down in the next few weeks, it would be surprising but not shocking. Personally, I think it would be the wrong time to do it. Leaving in the middle of a season doesn't seem like the way Andy, one of Philadelphia's all time great coaches, will leave his legacy.

Filler: Donovan McNabb was spotted at the Arizona/Chicago playoff game. I wonder why he didn't check out the Phils? Maybe he wanted to avoid the pain.
