The Fanhouse's Ryan Wilson told us earlier that Miami is sticking with Cleo Lemon as their starting QB. Apparantly, a former Dolphins' quarterback doesn't agree. Former Dolphin great Dan Marino told reporters at a golf outing that hrookie John Bech should get the nod instead:

''I think that they need to see him play,'' Marino said Monday at the ADT Skills Challenge at Fairmont Turnberry Isle Resort & Club. "They need to see him play to find out if he can (play) because they will have a high draft pick."

I tend to agree with Dan. Nothing against Cleo Lemon, but if Miami really thought that he'd be the future of this team, they would have never dealt for Trent Green and drafted Beck in the 2nd round. If this team had any chance to do anything, I can see the merit of keeping Lemon in the lineup. However, Miami is 0-8 and the war is lost. Go ahead and see what Beck can do ... just to get him some game action and some film to break down.
