The Patriots Are Making This Season Boring

Last night's Patriots-Bills game was the first time all season that I turned off the TV before the Sunday night game was over. When the score is 56-10, there's not much reason to keep watching.

And I have a feeling next week's Sunday night game, Patriots-Eagles, is going to be the same way. Yes, the Eagles are playing better, but they're no match for the mighty Patriots. Really, I don't get why NBC wants to show the Patriots at all. They're a great team and the question of whether they can go 16-0 is an interesting story, but their games, unless they're playing in Indianapolis, are not interesting because they're not close.

And now the Patriots' greatness is starting to creep into my thoughts about other games. When I watch the 31 other NFL teams, I just think to myself, "These guys couldn't beat the Patriots."

So, really, as much as I can respect the Patriots' greatness, I'm worried that they're making this a boring NFL season. Sports are fun because you never know how they're going to turn out. With the Patriots' games, that isn't the case.
