The Cal basketball team could very well end up much like the Cal football team. Both teams kicked (or are kicking) ass in the non-conference part of the schedule, but the football team got bent over by the Pac-10 slate and the basketball team could very well do the same. But for now, the Bears can feel good, the latest smile coming from a 86-72 win over Missouri in the Pac-10/Big 12 Hardwood Series.
The Bears are now 5-0, the team's best start since '94-'95. Patrick Christopher and Ryan Anderson have a been a big reason for the solid start.
Christopher had a game-high 18 and Anderson added 15. Matt Lawrence's 17 led the Tigers.
As of this post, the Pac-10 leads the Big 12 4-2 in the Hardwood Series.
