The other day, I was sitting in the breakroom at work when that show 'Jail' came on (it's on MyNetworkTV). It is a lot like "COPS", which stands to reason since they are both produced by John and Morgan Langley. The twist is that the show basically shows weirdos getting booked on all kinds of charges.

Well, tonight (Tuesday, February 12th), "Jail" will have quite an interesting show. It will have video of O.J. Simpson being booked at the Clark County Detention Center in Las Vegas following his January 11th arrest for violating the terms of his bail agreement. He was out on bail following an arrest for an armed robbery charge from September of 2007.

You can see more of O.J. discussing how professional the people of the Clark County Detention Center are by going here.

Here is some of the conversation from the show:
OJ on how his day was going up until the arrest:

Sergeant Kevin Getler: Overall how are you feeling?

O.J.: Overall I am feeling great today. I had a poker game tonight at my house that I was hosting and today I finally found my golf swing – it was a good day.

Sergeant Kevin Getler: Until you got that knock on the door?

O.J.: I think they must have known I was having too good a time.

OJ's feelings on Vegas

Officer Barry Redmond: OK, Mr. Simpson if you need anything just let us know, OK?

O.J.: Right now I'm hoping to get something to read. Unfortunately when the guy came to my house he didn't give me time. Well, he was nice – he was really nice. We took a ride and he said 'Hey I gotta take you to Vegas' and I said not to Vegas, not to Vegas (smiling). I used to love coming to Vegas, now hate it.

OJ on what he appreciates about the Clark County Detention Center

O.J.: I always feel that the truth will set you free. I have always believed in the jury system. I tell you one thing though, this is unfortunately my second visit here and everybody is courteous. And everybody is very very professional and you appreciate it when you are in a vulnerable place like this where you have no say and you know your life is kind of in disarray. It is nice to have people that are to some degree courteous and at least professional, you know, and I thoroughly appreciate it.

Again, it will be on MyNetworkTV on Tuesday night. Check local listings.
