So here's a little contrived event that took place at the end of the All-Star practice on Saturday. Apparently the league got a rep from Guinness World Records to attend, so they could certify a world record attempt by the players of who could make the most shots from beyond half court in under 60 seconds. Your winner and world record holder: Chris Paul, with four.
This record struck me as being a little low. Usually records like these are held by some freak who spends all their time doing nothing else. I mean, look at this guy who set the record for most free throws made in an hour with 1415. Not exactly NBA material, you know? While I'm sure it was a fun thing for the fans in attendance to witness, I'm also sure that this record won't stand for very long. In fact, I'm heading to the gym right now.
