This is video of September 20th, 1992. Green Bay was hosting the Cincinnati Bengals when Packers QB Don Majkowski was injured in the first quarter. In comes Brett Favre, who joined Green Bay in the offseason when he was traded from Atlanta for a first round pick.
The dramatics came when Favre led the Packers on a 92-yard drive on just five plays ... the final one being a 35-yd TD pass to Kitrick Taylor to give Green Bay a 24-23 lead -- and win.
The win was also Mike Holmgren's first as an NFL head coach. Holmgren was hired that season after the team fired Lindy Infante.
After the game, you can see Bob Costas, O.J. Simpson and Buddy Ryan chat it up with the young Favre on NBC's NFL Live.
